Welcome to KarenKrstichDVM.com
My mission is to provide compassionate veterinary care to animals and their people. This is accomplished via my mobile, multi-species practice incorporating both conventional and alternative veterinary medicine.
I believe that health is NOT the absence of disease. My practice emphasizes maintaining healthy animals by practicing preventive medicine. This includes regular physical exams, vaccinations and laboratory tests (as warranted), diet, exercise, behavior, and environmental factors.
However, despite our best efforts, health issues can arise. It is very scary when our animals are sick or injured. Many people feel anxious, hopeless, confused and stressed when there is a problem. I am here to help clients understand the problem and to formulate a thoughtful and effective treatment plan that focuses on the animal’s lifestyle and quality of life.
When the time comes, our animal friends often need our help in making end of life decisions and ensuring a peaceful passing. I provide geriatric health care, pet hospice services, and in-home euthanasia.
